Will and Grace are now back officially. With new episodes, NBC announced that Eric McCormack and Debra Messing will return at the Winter Press Tour 2017 TCA. Karen and Jack (Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes) are also back again with them. For a 2016 presidential election PSA, the cast reunited and ignited the discussion between all parties at NBC.
Robert Greenblatt from NBC said in a statement that “At the comeback of most defining comedies on NBC, one of the funniest and smartest, we are thrilled. From gay rights to political and social commentary – all masked as a speedy train of witty pop culture – The ground groundbreaking series is coming back where it belongs.” This season of 10-episodes will be the part of TV during the 2017-2018 season. Including Outstanding Comedy Series, the show was awarded 83 Emmys…
Mutchnick told in a statement that “The opportunity to write what Jack and Karen, Will and Grace are having in their minds in 2017, Dave and I are absolutely thrilled.” Including Outstanding Comedy Series, the show was awarded 83 Emmys and continued winning sixteen of them. For the show about a single woman, her roommate gay and their eccentric friends, the stars took home Emmy gold. This show was originally premiered in 2008. And the characters dealt with candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton’s politics in the election video, which reunited all the parties involved in these episodes.
The idea of the reunion was of Mutchnick’s. At Emerson College in Boston the sets were stored, from where they needed to be moved and were living for the past 10 years. He transported the set to the original studio of the show and had them reassembled. Burrows returned to guide the viral video that now has 6.6 million above views.
Will and Grace are the best one of others…
President of NBC Entertainment, Jennifer Salke, said in a statement that “About producing new episodes, back in September right after they shot the secret reunion show, we began the discussion with Kohan and Mutchnick. And it was the fact that all of the original four stars were excited to do the production again. The joyful experience they had in their 200 near episodes for eight seasons was the testament of that readiness. Especially in comedy, these days few thing cut through the clutter, and Will and Grace are the best one of others. There is no official production timeline of premiere date announced yet.
